Design and construction of 4 new industrial units following demolition of an existing workshop and a store attached to Ajax Works, an existing factory in Stockport.

The new units will accommodate a range of light industrial uses following the grant of planning permission in 2016.

They have been designed to be simple, flexible and functional built from robust materials including brick and profiled steel sheeting. The intention is to provide attractive buildings that will appeal to a wide range of potential businesses.

Photovoltaic Solar Panels mounted on the west facing roof are in the scheme.

An enabling works contract was carried out and completed in December 2018. This involved the demolition of a lean-to store attached to the main factory and extensive site clearance works in preparation for the main contract to construct the new industrial units. Drainage works were also undertaken and a new car park was formed to the south of the site.
