A new sustainable residential development comprising seventeen houses overlooking Saddleworth Moor.

The project consists of a terrace of fifteen townhouses built into a steeply sloping site, with two semi-detached dwellings sitting lower down.

The new development follows the contours of the site, relating to the scale and proportions of the local terraced houses. Local stone, slate and timber from sustainable sources are to be used in the construction.

The majority of the mature trees on the hillside site are to be retained with the addition of an extensive landscaping scheme. Together with the inclusion of a green roof and the most up-to-date sustainable technologies it is intended that the buildings will sit into their surroundings providing a pleasant, natural environment for the inhabitants.

Planning permission was granted by Tameside Council in December 2007.
